So, just <\/span>what is Yubo?<\/b> And <\/span>is the Yubo app safe<\/b> for kids? Users could swipe left or right, just like on the infamous dating app, to find a profile and get the user\u2019s Snapchat details.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Fast forward to 2022, and Yubo is now a social media platform in its own right. In Yubo\u2019s own words, it\u2019s \u201c<\/span>a social live-streaming platform that celebrates the true essence of being young<\/b>\u201d. You can use it to livestream and connect with new people nearby, or from around the world, and chat with them in direct messages.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.16.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.16.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n Unlike many social media platforms, <\/span>Yubo\u2019s focus isn\u2019t on connecting with your own, real-life friends, but on making new ones<\/b> using the app. In the mobile-only app, you can swipe left and right to connect with profiles and start chatting, much like on Tinder.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n On initial setup, Yubo allows you to select \u201ctags\u201d that display your interests on your profile. This function lets you search by tag in addition to the swipe system, so you can <\/span>connect and find new friends through shared interests<\/b>. Unlike other social media apps, Yubo doesn\u2019t have a \u201clike\u201d feature, and there\u2019s no follower count either, placing the focus solely on your personal connections.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Yubo also has a livestream function, which allows you to host a streaming session on the app in real time. Up to 10 livestreamers can connect to the same session, while there\u2019s no limit on the number of viewers you can have on the live video.
