Qustodio for Windows/Mac is not reporting web activity

If you have installed Qustodio for Windows or Mac, and it is not reporting web activity, please note that a common cause of issues with Qustodio is an interference with security suites (e.g., antivirus, anti-malware, firewall), system optimization softwares, or other parental controls. If you’re using such program, try to temporarily disable it prior to re-downloading and re-installing Qustodio.

In this case, it is recommended that you reinstall Qustodio completely and make sure that you're using the latest version available, by following these steps:

  • Restart the computer.
  • Log into the computer with an administrator account.
  • Make sure the device is connected to the Internet.
  • If there is any security software installed on the computer (e.g., antivirus, firewall), deactivate it.
  • Download a fresh version of Qustodio from here.
  • Follow the installation steps provided.
  • Restart the computer.

Make sure also that your computer's operating system and web browser are up to date with the latest versions.
