At the very end of 2015 we launched brand new Qustodio app in the Apple App Store for parents to monitor their kids' internet connections from iOS devices. When we launched, parents could only monitor their kids' web browsing in Safari. If the kids used other iOS apps (which they mostly do) they couldn't be tracked or blocked by Qustodio at all. Well, today we're pleased to announce that we've come up with a solution to this problem.
Starting today New Qustodio for iOS now has full app controls (time quotas and blocking) for 25 brand new iOS apps. This brings us to a total of 35 apps that Qustodio for iOS can now be set to block or allow for up to a certain of hours each day. The full list of apps we now support is shown below and includes Games, Social Networks, Dating and Chat, Videos and Music and Apple Apps:
- Animal Voyage: Island Adventure
- Boom Beach
- Clash of Clans
- Deer Hunter 2016
- Fifa 16 Ultimate Team
- Hay Day
- Madden NFL
- Puzzles and Dragons
- Facebook / Messenger
- Shots of Me

To set rules for one of these applications, you just need to log in to the Qustodio Family Portal and click on this link: https://family.qustodio.com/user-rules/apps. You'll see a screen like the one below.
Each iOS app will appear in the app controls list above the first time it is used by your child. To block an app, just flip the switch to off. To set a time quota for an app, click on the watch face to the right of the switch. As your child starts to use these new apps, you as a parent will be able to view their activity on the Qustodio Activity Timeline. To view your child's activity, just click here: https://family.qustodio.com/user-activity/summary/
If you're new to Parental Controls on iOS and haven't yet tried Qustodio for iOS, now is a great time to do so. Qustodio for iOS can be downloaded here: http://www.qustodio.com/iOS. The install is quick and easy.
One more thing: This is only one of many features we have planned for New Qustodio for iOS. We hope you like it. We look forward to your feedback. Stay tuned for more iOS related product announcements in the coming months.
