Drawp: A Social Drawing App for Kids

A new iPad app lets kids share their drawings with friends and family, no matter where they are in the world. The creators of the app were inspired in part by an AARP study revealing that approximately half of all grandparents live more than 200 miles from their grandchildren. Thanks to Drawp, they can now receive special drawings from their little angels instantly, and they can even respond with audio and additions to the masterpiece.

We especially like the safety features of the app, which allow parents to select which users to add to their kids’ networks. The Next Web also points out that the app works offline so that kids can create on-the-go. The app is free and available for download in the app store.
