Former Packers Cheerleader Fights Back Against Cyberbullying

In a touching YouTube video uploaded on February 7th, former Packers cheerleader tells her personal story of cyberbullying through a series of note cards. Her video exposes a Facebook page featuring a picture of her with the caption “Like if you agree the Packers have the worst cheerleaders in the NFL.” The post garnered many degrading comments from FB users, calling Kaitlyn “ugly” and an “eyesore.” In the video, Kaitlyn says some of the comments were too horrible to repeat.Mashable reported the story the day after the video was uploaded.

According to Kaitlyn, Facebook told her the incident did not meet their criteria for cyberbullying. The owner of the page was asked to take the photo and comments down, but has yet to do so. We stand behind Kaitlyn and commend her efforts to put an end to the evil of cyberbullying.
