For many kids, gaming is a social space. They team up, talk strategy, celebrate wins, and chat while playing. Over time, voice chat has become a natural part of how they connect with others online, often with people they’ve never met before.

As parents, it isn’t always easy to know what those conversations sound like or when something might cross a line. That’s why Gaming alerts helps bring more awareness to this part of your child’s digital life.

Introducing Gaming alerts

Gaming alerts is designed to help you stay connected to what’s happening during your child’s online play by offering timely insights into voice conversations.

At launch, Gaming alerts will support some of the most popular games and platforms kids use today, including, Steam, Roblox, Valorant, and Fortnite. The first release will be available on Windows, with plans to expand over time.

By making the social side of gaming easier to understand, the feature helps you stay informed as your child plays and interacts online.

How Gaming alerts works

When your child is playing a multiplayer game with voice chat enabled, Qustodio uses AI to detect specific words, topics, and conversational patterns that may signal a concerning interaction. If something stands out, you receive a voice alert notification in the app.

From there, each alert gives you a short summary of what was detected and an explanation of why it raised a concern. This way, you have the context you need to decide how to respond in a way that works for your family.

Things Gaming alerts can flag

For example, Gaming alerts can pick up moments where early awareness can make a real difference. This includes aggressive or bullying language, inappropriate or adult conversations, personal questions that cross boundaries, and threats or intimidating behavior.

By highlighting these situations, the feature helps you better understand the social dynamics your child may encounter while gaming.

Helping families stay in sync

Gaming alerts help share the experience of online gaming, making conversations between you and your kids feel more natural and timely. It can support your family as you navigate gaming spaces together, offering clarity and reassurance along the way.
