Qustodio is proud to participate in the ASEAN Child Online Protection Seminar in Malaysia on the 5th and 6th of December with Tune Talk. The Seminar is being organized by MCMC (the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission) and participants will include Unicef and a whole host of industry leaders from the Telco industry.
We’ll be there to spread the word about our collaboration with Tune Talk and create awareness about the work Qustodio and Tune Talk are doing in Malaysia. The goal? Show the difference a simple collaboration to work together can make: Tune Talk is actively helping parents in Malaysia better understand risks and encourages them to install Qustodio and take positive actions like setting house rules and getting more involved in their child’s digital activities.
The Chief Marketing Officer of Tune Talk, Mr. Joseph Lim explains: “Tune Talk has always been about simplicity and transparency of service. As such, we see simplicity and transparency in the child protection and parental control mobile app developed by Qustodio as being in the same spirit as ours. The idea is to enable our subscribers quick access to the service and to ensure that their children are protected at all times.”
Josh Gabel, Chief Product Officer at Qustodio describes the collaboration between Qustodio and Tune Talk as, “A great initiative that will definitely help families in Malaysia by driving awareness of the importance of supervising younger kids’ online activities with solutions like Qustodio. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for other Telcos at the Seminar to see first-hand that they can easily follow suit and more actively help parents protect their children online.”
Mr. Joseph Lim concludes: “The joint MCMC and ASEAN seminar on child protection and parental control in Kuala Lumpur this 5th and 6th of December is timely for both the people of Malaysia as well as the subscribers of Tune Talk as it is a crucial reminder of how vulnerable our children are when they explore the internet and how as parents we need to ensure their protection at all times.”
